Step 1 – Sign up for CoinPot

CoinPot is a microwallet that can store five different cryptocurrencies. It is called a microwallet because of the small amounts of coins that it can hold. There is a minimum amount of coins you have to accumulate before you can withdraw from this wallet. For example, you have to accumulate 0.0001 btc (bitcoin) before you can transfer it to another wallet or an exchange.

CoinPot also allows you play a lottery every hour, mine bicoins using your computer (a very slow and resource intensive process), freely trade between the five supported cryptocurrencies, and play a multiplier game using tokens. Tokens are earned each time you claim coins from a faucet (this will make sense later).

Step 2 – Sign up for Moon Bitcoin

Moon Bitcoin is one of the most popular faucets. It is very easy to use. You log in using your CoinPot account and claim your satoshis by solving a CAPTCHA. It only takes seconds. However, once you claim your first satoshis, you will have to wait 5 minutes until you can do it again. You can also let the satoshis accumulate and claim a bigger sum later. The downside to that is that the faucet slows down over time. I have found that making a claim every 2 hours works best.

There are several ways to increase your payout. These are called bonuses. You can read about them on the Moon Bitcoin page. Basically, you get rewarded for coming back at least once per day, referring other people, and so on. The daily bonus will provide a significant boost to your claims if you make sure to make at least one claim per day.

Step 3 – Sign up for Bonus Bitcoin

Bonus Bitcoin is very similar to Moon Bitcoin. The claim process is the same as Moon Bitcoin. However, it only accumulates satoshis for 15 minutes and it pays out according to a lottery. If you would prefer to get a consistent amount and forego the lottery, you can change the claim settings to average claim.

Step 4 – Sign up for Moon Litecoin

Moon Litecoin is pretty much identical to Moon Bitcoin. The only difference is that it pays out in Litecoin (which you can then convert into bitcoin on CoinPot for free).

Step 5 – Sign up for Moon Cash

Moon Cash pays out in bitcoin cash (which you can then convert into bitcoin on CoinPot for free). I have noticed that Moon Cash gives a very good random bonus when claiming your coins.

Step 6 – Sign up for Moon Dash

Moon Dash is more of the same. It pays out in dash (which you can then convert into bitcoin on CoinPot for free). Moon Dash also seems to give very good bonuses when you claim your coins.

Step 7 – Sign up for Moon Dogecoin

Moon Dogecoin pays out in dogecoin (which you can then convert into bitcoin on CoinPot for free, but I would advise against it because dogecoin!).

Step 8 – Sign up for Bit Fun

Bit fun is similar to the other faucets. It also offers games that you can play on their website while you wait for the claim button to activate. The games do not add a bonus to your faucet.

Step 9 – Set up your bookmarks

After signing up for the faucets, you’ll want to bookmark each faucet and add it to your bookmarks tab. This will allow you to click through each one in a minute or two. It should look like this:

Now you should have a nice CoinPot setup for your faucets. They will all link to CoinPot and allow you to manage your coins as you see fit. I hope that you have found this tutorial useful and I wish you good luck.

I would also like to recommend looking into Kraken once you are ready to transfer your funds into an exchange. There are several exchanges out there, but Kraken has worked really well for me.

Another popular bitcoin faucet is FreeBitco.in. The reason I did not mention it above is that it is not connected to CoinPot. However, it is a fun little faucet that lets you play a game with your satoshis. You can claim coins every hour and the payouts can be quite large at times.  The site uses a lottery based claim system.  I would also recommend using this faucet on your phone as it is ad free and uses very little data.

There is also FreeDoge.co.in.  It is the the same idea, only with dogecoin.
